Secret Falls Kayak / Hike
Passengers: Over 5 years old
From : 55.00 USD
Kauai’s main beauty lies in being less developed than other Hawaiian islands, providing you with a chance to explore a tropical Polynesian landscape. One of the most popular ways to explore the authenticity of Kauai is with an excursion along the Wailua River to the Secret Falls for an incredible kayak and hike tour.
Hike Up the Falls
Begin your five-hour trek of Kauai’s Secret Falls kayak and hike tour into the tropics with a 30-minute hike to Secret Falls, whose real name is Uluwehi. The falls drop 100 feet at the north fork of the Wailua River. If it rains, the hike can become challenging when going up the slight incline, so be ready for what can happen if stepping on mud. Though, the payoff will be worth it once you arrive at one of Hawaii’s most beautiful waterfalls!
Kayak Down a Gentle River
After taking in the amazement of standing over the falls, climb into a double kayak, don your life jacket and set off down the Wailua River to take in the natural splendor of Kauai. The river provides a gentle route. Depending on whether you depart on the morning or afternoon adventure, a provided lunch may take place following the hike at the falls with turkey, ham, roast beef or salami sandwiches and beverages.
