Be transported into a surreal landscape that reveals Hawaii’s past and see stars closer than you have ever seen them through the impressive telescope at Mauna Kea.
Ascend to the summit of Mauna Kea at 13,796 feet above sea level for a spectacular sunset. At nightfall, stargazing with a telescope will commence at 9,000 feet, outside the Onizuka Visitor Center.
Guests are provided hooded parkas but should bring a light sweater or jacket, wear long pants and covered walking shoes.

Hot Entrée Option: BBQ chicken w/ mild Korean bbq chili sauce, warm homemade cornbread and cole slaw w/ blond raisins.
Cold Vegetarian Entrée Option: Vegetarian Spinach Wrap ( served cold). Wrap includes hummus, lettuce, tofu, cucumber, tomato, carrot, avocado, bell peppers and tomatoes served with a side of sesame soy dressing. Also included glazed carrots and tabouleh.
Gluten Free Option: Grill chicken breast w/ lemon garnish ( served hot). Served with rice.
