Circle of Fire and Waterfalls Helicopter Adventure
Passengers: Over 2 years old
From : 230.00 USD
The majestic Big Island of Hawaii is so large, it might seem tough to experience it all in one vacation. But you can see the best the island has to offer in less than an hour on a helicopter adventure that takes you from Hilo to the Circle of Fire. There, the still-active Kilauea volcano continues to spew liquid fire from the core of the Earth, while waterfalls adorn the mountain rainforests nearby. Prepare to be amazed by a panorama of natural beauty!
Soar above rainforests and waterfalls
Your journey begins at Hilo airport, where you can choose between an A-Star helicopter or its larger counterpart, Eco-Star, to witness the Circle of Fire from the skies. Your 50-minute helicopter ride will be led by a pilot who’s state-certified as a tour guide. Your pilot will take you above the Big Island’s rainforests and cascading waterfalls, pointing out historic and beautiful settings that make Hawaii a premier destination for nature lovers.
Watch lava flow to the sea
This Circle of Fire helicopter excursion takes you where no car can go, given that some roads have been destroyed by the lava at Volcanoes National Park. Luckily, you get to soar above the Kilauea volcano, which has been erupting continuously since 1983. View all the lava spewing out to Hawaii’s sea from the comfort and safety of the helicopter. You’ll be equipped with Bose aviation-grade, noise-canceling headphones and a two-way to talk to your pilot, and DVD recordings of your flight are available for purchase when you return to land.
