Explore the underbelly of the volcanic island with a guided hike through Ka’eleku Caverns and go as deep as you can into the heart of the island. Follow underground passages of an ancient volcano and see beautiful rock formations, stalactites and stalagmites in one of Maui’s most unique excursions.
Follow the path of lava
The limited Cave Quest outing takes only up to eight passengers to the underground adventure. You will begin your all-day explorations with pick up at your hotel by a Limo Van, led by a certified guide who will accompany you throughout your journey. Brought to Ka’eleku Cavern, a subterranean lava tube that once flowed with lava in Hana’s jungles, you will walk through underground trails on a one-hour quest.
Take the road to Hana
Your Cave Quest includes driving along Maui’s renowned Road to Hana, and a stop at Hana’s famous black sand beach for a swim, or a dip in the natural pools of a waterfall. You will also enjoy a morning snack and be served a picnic lunch of herb-marinated chicken and blackened ono. (Vegetarian and gluten-free options are available, as well.) You will be returned comfortably to your hotel following your explorations.
