Visit the Polynesian Cultural Center in Laie, Hawaii, on the island of Oahu, to join its nightly and world-famous Ali’I Luau. Showcasing Hawaiian and Polynesian heritage through dance, song, and food, you will experience the sights and sounds of the island on your Hawaii getaway, while uncovering the cultural riches of other Polynesian islands.
Feast Like Royalty
Ali’I, which means royalty in Hawaiian, is a feast for a king! Your Ali’I Luau evening includes a menu of traditional island dishes. Find Kalua pork, lomi lomi salmon, poi, taro rolls, chicken long rice, baked sweet potato and haupia in the pre-show dinner. The nearly hour-long show that follows features musicians and dancers performing ritual luau traditions that have been a part of Hawaii for more than 150 years.
Discover Polynesian Culture
Your Ali’I Luau Hawaii package includes more than the luau, however! The Polynesian Cultural Center also features seven villages in which to explore and learn more about the Polynesian island nations of Samoa, Tonga, Aotearoa, Fiji, Tahiti and Hawaii. Daily presentations teach you different skills from each culture, and shopping is available at specialty shops with handmade items. Your outing includes admission to the villages, an IMAX theater screening on the hidden splendors of Hawaii, and preferred seating at the luau.
